Yeah it doesn't look all that great. Where did you play to? Because a lot of people said on youtube (and elsewhere) that it's really boring at first but then if you give it time it's great.

I beat the game, lol.

The whole game just feels so generic.

Hmm...alright, I'll take your word for it. Oh, wait, is the multiplayer alive at all? Or does it suck now?

I honestly couldn't tell you. That game came out in like '07 or '08, so I can't say what it's like now. lol

The MP was pretty bad, though.

QUAKE III ARENA

Quake IV kind of sucks.

Can you please elaborate why one game is good and the other sucks

Q3A is a legendary tier arena shooter. You run around shooting missiles and lightning at people. It's old as dirt but people probably still play it. I'm not sure if Quake Live is exactly the same thing but you might want to check that out as it's free.

Q4 was nothing special and nothing particularly good. Mostly firing stupid bullet guns and the multiplayer is probably dead by now.

They're really two completely different games. They don't bear any resemblance to each other.

Well, you're comparing two different games, an arena shooter and a traditional linear FPS experience, so it's not really a fair comparison. Quake IV is fun while it lasts with some interesting vehicle segments and boss fights, though it's nothing fantastic (though it does capitalize on the Doom 3 engine and have some fun weapons/truly creepy environments in parts).

This. Quake III imo is the father of multiplayer FPSes (with Doom being the grandfather). It's fast paced and simple yet fun to play. Quake IV isn't bad but maps and the engine itself aren't as streamlined as in Quake III.

I liked Morrowind better than Skyrim - primarily for the magic system. Being able to craft your own spells and enchantments effectively from scratch was fun.
