People who turn down anti-aliasing to raise their FPS to 60 are dumb.

I turn AA off even if I have the power to spare.
I like the jaggies.

's the truth

You can't just say that. You have to explain why you feel it's dumb.

Speaking of jaggies...

I played Tomb Raider on the PS. When it released on PC, it supported 3DFX. I liked the PS version better because it looked rough and jagged like cave walls should. It was the only game I preferred that way.

People who use anti-aliasing, even though this means getting less FPS dumb.

Basically.

LOL

I'd rather play any game at low setting (except for textures on high) at 60FPS and 1080P
And I have a good Graphics card as well GTX770 OC so yeah lol.

We all have different preferences. Some people like to play at highest setting and get 30-40FPS,
and some people like to play on medium and get 60FPS. There's nothing wrong with any of these choices, but calling people dumb just because they like to play their games at different setting than you is just stupid IMO.

My preference on settings generally goes like this:

Native Resolution
~60 FPS (slightly below or occasional dips are alright)
Anything that noticeably increases detail or visual quality
Anti-aliasing
Nearly meaningless or unnoticeable settings

I game at 2560x1440 and I've always been able to achieve 60 FPS with at least medium settings. AA is a clear improvement, but for my setup it's one of the least necessary settings.

I don't like AA unless its downscaling or SSAA, but even then, I notice it's not as crisp...

I turn down anti aliasing either way. #DealWithIT

It's just an old habit left over from the old days of AA where it would occasionally filter out things it shouldn't, I like things sharp and jaggy.

I'll be honest - I barely notice AA at all. Hell, often I don't notice it. Call me blind if you like - Probably half true, but I pretty much ignore graphics. As long as its as good or better than the original Deus Ex, I don't care what a game looks like.

Word, they should be turning down texture detail instead.
