I recently build this computer for someone, but then told me he didn't have the money for it anymore..............................................

So, since I have no use for it, I was thinking on selling on craiglist. I was thinking about $1,300. Trying to squeeze the most money I can get from it. I haven't even installed Windows 7 yet, I have only turned it once for testing. Do you think I can go higher for it, and sell it to someone who knows nothing about computers, or 1,300 is fine?

First off, why the hell would you build a PC for someone without them funding or at least locking in with a good sized down payment???

I'd say you can start by asking for 1300.00, and gradually lower your price to no less than 1200.00 depending on interest.

LMFAO, dude, family is worse IMO. I have had more issues over money w/ family before friends. Family think they have a right to screw around w/ your money because they are blood.

Most likely no one will like the crappy keyboard/mouse and the monitor might be a hard sell too. I'd say about 750-800 bucks for the tower I mean that's about what its worth plus the buyer loses the luxury of picking parts.
