#1Dark222Posted 8/1/2013 7:52:40 PM
Hi, i just turned on my laptop and none of the keyboard keys seem to be responding. So i basically can't log in or do anything, Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Can you boot into safe mode?

If you can't get into safe mode try disconnecting your power cable and battery then holding the laptop's power button for 15-30 seconds.

Do any of the keyboard's lights come on? And can you get into the BIOS before boot?

My desktop had a weird problem about a month ago where Windows got confused about the USB keyboard's driver-- it worked until I got into Windows, then Windows insisted there was no driver and it stopped working. I had to reinstall Windows to make it work again (which was actually nice, as it was a three and a half year old install with a lot of cruft.)

Yeah, some lights were working before along with like 2 or 3 keys. Now, nothing at all is working. And i can't get into the Bios before boot. Right now i unistalled the keyboard driver and downloading it again using the on screem keyboard.
