Q3's multiplayer. It's kinda dead, not to mention you can just play Quake Live.

Among the others, 2 and 4 are the best. I'd prefer 4 since it's newer/more modern, but 2's good too. 1 is probably the worst of the series, and has little to do with other games in the series.

Despite what many people will tell you, despite being a classic, Quake 2 isn't very accessible.

I would play Quake 4.

Quake 4 isn't like that. Get over it bro, Quake 2 just isn't very appealing to modern gamers with it's antiquated mechanics and gameplay. Nobody wants to play that **** in 2013.

Hopefully, they'll eventually release Quake 5 to tie Quake 1 into Quake 2 and 4 storyline.
