Is your PSU any good? Is there room in the case for a bigger card? What's your budget? etc. etc.

my 6970 is still doing just fine.

I'm waiting for the next line of cards to release before I get a new one tho.

Yes, the 660 can MAX ALL GAMES at 1080p / 60fps as long as you turn down/off tessellation, MSAA, ATOC, AO, Dynamic lighting, shadows, textures altogether or in various combinations.

then thats not max. My 680 gtx doesn't do 60fps for some games max.

If that's the resolution you're gaming at, I think a GTX 760 would suffice for a few years.
