I wouldn't get the 4820k, personally. I'd say just get The 4770k or get a 3930k/4930k. However, we don't really know that much about it besides the basics so wait until some benchmarks come out next month.

The 4770K will have higher IPC, less features, and will overclock worse most likely.

Best for what purpose? If you are doing something CPU intensive like encoding or compiling, maybe you will see a little bit of difference.


If you are just gaming, you will notice literally zero difference.

Save yourself some dough and go with an i5 4670k. You could get some games or a good mouse or something with the leftover cash.

I'd go with the 4770K or even the 4670K, unless you plan on having the machine for a really long time. Spend the money you'd save on a better graphics card and/or peripherals & streaming equipment (I hate it when people who stream have bad mics and/or noisy keyboards), etc.
