1) Download this: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool 2) Download the version of Windows 7 you're licensed for from http://www.w7forums.com/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads-t12325.html -- it's legal and straight from Digital River (which is the digital distribution network Microsoft uses). You'll use the tool downloaded in #1 to create a bootable thumb drive based on the large ISO file downloaded in #2.
