Alright, so im gonna format, however, my cd drives have stopped working sometime in the last year (not a big deal.. havent used them since the last time i formatted)..

Have the windows 7 disk and key.. but without a drive the disk is useless to me...

is there a way i can download a usb installer for windows, and do it all off of a flash drive?

First result for "USB installer Windows 7" in Google.

1) Download this: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
2) Download the version of Windows 7 you're licensed for from http://www.w7forums.com/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads-t12325.html -- it's legal and straight from Digital River (which is the digital distribution network Microsoft uses).
You'll use the tool downloaded in #1 to create a bootable thumb drive based on the large ISO file downloaded in #2. The thumb drive must be 4 GB or more.
