Best Free backup solution?

#1King PazuzuPosted 8/2/2013 1:42:38 PM
I got a new network HDD and was looking for a free way to back up my files periodically to a network drive. I tried using Windows backup but it only allows backing up to a local folder. If there isn't a free program maybe there is a very cheap one?

Thanks

P.S. I'am using Windows 7

CrashPlan is pretty good, if you don't mind a small ad adjusting settings. You can also expand it to back up to a friend's computer and, of course, the CrashPlan service.

I second Crashplan, however to back up to a network drive you have to change the service's logon credentials to use a user account with local admin privileges.

Crashplan looks good, but I want to back up to my own NAT HDD, not an cloud backup.

Ok never mind. It sees my NAT HDD as a "friends computer".
