Thanks guys. How come that one doesn't list a refresh rate?

For another $100...how much better would the gaming experience be:

What's the difference between refresh rates and the grey to grey "#ms" ?

That last monitor I listed people were raving over it being 144hz. This dell here has an 8ms. How's that differ from 2ms?

The grey to grey number is something you should largely ignore. It's only a part of the actual response time of the monitor, and it's not even consistent how it's measured. What you should do is look for a review on prad or tftcentral. They have tests for input lag, the far more important factor.

What exactly is an IPS panel?

Ok so the first two guys picked number 1.

IS the extra money worth the improved gaming experience for either of these:

I'm getting a monitor for my first gaming rig. I've been reading and heard the 144hz would cut down on motion blur? Motion blur really strains my eyes, if that's true it sounds like it might be worth it.
