Sleeper of a budget gaming laptop / ultrabook.

Bought this the other day after checking benchmarks. Expected to run Total War: Shogun 2 on medium to high settings, but, been playing it on Ultra without any trouble.

This was after the GPU updated it's driver software and I enabled the dual performance option that uses CPU / GPU combo.

Not bad for $599 Canadian. Just a heads up.

Honestly I would, but I don't have Crysis 3. If it has a benchmark program I'd gladly test it for you because I'm also curious.

meh doesn't even have a graphics card. I guess it's allright for older games or newish games at a super low resolution.

Gamefaqs game rating system : 10 = Best Game Ever. 8-9. Crushing dissapointment. Below 8 :Total Garbage. This is getting ridiculous. people agreeing so far 104

Battery life looks really crappy and 1366x768 is too low on a 15" screen.

I got an acer aspire that has an i5 2430m paired with 540m a while ago for $500. All I really need out of it is word processing, Photoshop/3d panorama stitching and light gaming. Acer gets a lot of s*** but this laptop has done exactly what I need it to do without a hitch. Was a good deal back in the day too.

Just to clarify, it does have a graphics card. 2GB Radeon HD 8750M

Also, the battery looks bad on there, but it took me 6 hours to drain the battery once I had it home. I had youtube playing non-stop and was web browsing on it. Granted gaming probably would've dropped that to 2 hours.

I'm not saying it's the best laptop ever, I just wanted to let people know it out performs compared to how it looks on paper.
