Was wondering what kind of headphones would be good for gaming, budget is not an issue since I will be saving up to get them.

Get a pair of regular music headphones instead of ones made for a computer, and then buy a separate USB microphone. People always recommend these:

I say skip the mic altogether and put the little extra money towards the headphones. But that's just me. I'm stuck in a time where text chat was the norm.
Everything's shiny, Cap'n. Not to fret.

And then the rest of us not stuck in 1996 don't mind spending $20 on a mic.

If money is no problem I would recommend Astro A40's 2013 edition. I know people are going to say they are way to expensive but I think they sound great. You can order them online or your local GameStop should also carry them. You could also try the A50's if your looking for wireless.

If you're looking for headphones then Sennheisers are pretty much considered god tier. I personally play on QC15s for noise cancelling, its very immersive. But if I didn't need NC I would get some sennies.

My Beyerdynamic DT 770s are fantastic for gaming. Get the 80 ohms version as those are easier to drive than the 250 ohms pair.
