I currently have a 7770 1GB and a friend of mine is doing a new build and said I could have his gtx 460 xlr8 1gb for 20$. Is it worth it and will it be better then the 7770? Thx

About the same, and the 460 uses a lot more power.

IMO it is worth it so you don't have to deal with AMD drivers.

I think it would be slightly better. That is a really good deal for only $20 so I would buy it for that fact alone. Then I would benchmark some games with both cards and see if there are any major differences and then sell/donate the inferior one.

460 is a better card. 7770 is kind of between 6850 and 6770.

Yeah, at that price it is worth getting. I could sell it for a lot more than that just by trading it in at CeX (UK store) for cash. Or use it and sell the 7770. Or keep them both, knowing that you have a ready to use back-up card if the other one conks out.

I am actually using a GTX 460 1GB. Been in use for almost two years. No problems with it.
