Why would you get a z68 motherboard at this point in time, for a new build??? Unless you mean this is a build you already have and not one you are looking to build. --- //Intel// Core i7 2600k @ 4.2 //Gigabyte// Z68X-UD7-B3 //MSI// 3x GTX 580 Lightning SLi //Corsair// 650D / H100 / 120 GB Force 3 / 12 GB Dominator / AX1200
The SSD choice is very poor. They don't even make the 830 anymore? Go with the 840 ( I have the 256gb version ) or the 840 pro. Or anything else that is more modern. That is a bad price for an older drive. --- #1 LoL Poster NA: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/954437-league-of-legends/63627116
In addition, why would you buy a 680 when a 770 is better and cheaper? --- 3570K (4.8 GHz) | Dual-X 7970 | ASRock Z77 OC Formula | Corsair Vengeance 2x 4 GB | WD Black 1 TB | Corsair TX750 | XSPC Raystorm 750 RS240 Kit | NZXT Phantom
The latter. It's a build I already have with parts being swapped throughout the years. This is what I have now.
So this is an upgrade project? Would probably serve you better to list what the build was and what you are looking to upgrade it to, rather than what you posted in the OP...
Edit: Would probably cut down on a lot of these "Why would you" posts you are getting. --- //Intel// Core i7 2600k @ 4.2 //Gigabyte// Z68X-UD7-B3 //MSI// 3x GTX 580 Lightning SLi //Corsair// 650D / H100 / 120 GB Force 3 / 12 GB Dominator / AX1200
