So I have a 10 year old desktop computer that I am using since my laptops messed up. My desktop can't connect to wifi as there's no wireless card built in (obviously). I'm wondering, is there something compatible with an old computer like mine that will allow my computer to access a wireless connection? --- Pokemon White FC: 2322 6081 3221

I recommend one of these instead of a USB one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124342

You're right. But I think having the spare ports will come in handy later since USB is pretty common these days.
Even at ten years old it should already have them. Ten years ago was 2003. I had USB ports on the PC I built in 1999. --- "Much as a spiders web, it began with a single thread." - Cilym My Library - http://xjph.net/images/Library.jpg
