Some games don't age well, but they're important games that changed the industry. For example I used to love Morrowind but I can't enjoy it like I used to, the combat, physics and graphics are just too outdated for me to get immersed. Duke Nukem 3D another one that I enjoy purely for nostalgic reasons otherwise not as much fun.
Binding of Isaac (at least here it's always lovingly talked about). I get that it's supposed to be edgy with the religion thing, and there's demons and poop (LOL! POOP!) but it doesn't strike me as a very good game. Thankfully I only paid like $2.
Actually hate is really too strong a word for it. I just don't see the appeal in playing it more than 5 minutes.
Same for McPixel except I don't think anyone has really praised that game outside of a couple of reviews when it first came out on steam.
