What does Steam do bad that you guys wish Steam would do better?

No parental control options.

Recently I set up a gaming PC for my daughter. Unfortunately I have already had to block her Steam access because she revealed she was a girl to one of her group chat friends... she's been getting some weird comments both from pervert guys who want to see her and haters calling her an "attention whore" and other misogynistic things. Very disappointing to me!

I hate that when you search games:

-You can only view 10 at a time
-The max results are limited to 100

At least give us the option of seeing 25 a page. I also have NO idea why they limit the results to 100. That has got to be costing them sales.

Steam didn't want to cooperate with EA hence Origin was born.

Support for sure.

Sometimes it bloats and takes up a good chunk of memory but thats becoming moot with the amount of ram we have now.

Sometimes getting it to recognize pre-installed games (like from a retail disc) can be a pain and will want to download it. It also counts DLC as games which can be annoying at times, but not a big deal. Lastly, there's no tab functionality when browsing in the client (unless you use the client's browser). This means I need to use firefox (or whatever else) to search the store if I'm looking at the games under $5 or $10.

There needs to be a better way to manage cloud saves. One time I took a bunch of screenshots in a game (over 300MB worth). I didn't realize that it was also uploading the screenshots to the cloud save at the same time. Then I moved the screenshots to a different harddrive on my PC. I logged into steam again then the stupid thing decided to redownload every single screenshot from the cloud save. So now I have cloud saves disabled. All I want is an easy way to delete useless crap stored in the cloud save.
