It has DRM. You can only use it on iTunes and Apple devices.

What a waste of money. Can't even use them on any media. Too bad there's nothing like Spotify or Steam for videos. Til then, yar har.

iTunes DRM is much less restrictive than Steam's. Right now I have three separate devices that have simultaneous access to my iTunes contents, one of which is an AppleTV that my cousin borrowed for the summer, across the Pacific Ocean. Good luck trying that with Steam games.

Android and Linux users do lose out though, which sucks. I understand why Apple wouldn't want to support Android, but they ought to support Linux with iTunes.
