What are good JRPGs/ or even just turn-based RPGs with good stories that I can play on my laptop (Asus Zenbook). Thanks!

Anything from the SNES generation on an emulator. What are the specs of your laptop? Maybe you can do PS1 emulation.

As for JRPGS on he PC. There's the Ys games, FF7, and I think that's about all.

I do have FFVII on my laptop and it plays fine, but I'm not sure if this laptop could run a PS1 emulator. (Specs: 1.7 GHz Core i5-3317U, HD graphics 4000) (it's an ultrabook so obviously there is no onboard graphics cards, but I have my desktop for other games).
I do have a 3DS, but not many games. I have played most snes rpgs.

SInce you have a 3ds, get SMT IV, also, yeah I doubt you could run a PS1 emulator very well. Stick with JRPGs from the SNES era and maybe Recettear

I can drop a ton of turn based RPGs on you if you want but none of them are going to be JRPGs.

I've emulated PS1 on worse, and it's not like trying is going to take up a ton of your time in any case.
