Price when buying a game, is 60$ "too Darn High!"

Is there an AAA game worth paying for?

I don't even know if there is a single AAA title I will ever buy this year.

They almost never have content worth a third of the price, the only thing they ever have is graphics. I don't pay up for graphics.

$60 in 1990 would be $103 today... so that $60 game actually was pretty damned expensive. By contrast, $60 today would be $33.60 in 1990...

I've said it before, and I'll repeat it now. Paying straight retail on new games regardless of what the number is is for suckers. There's virtually *always* a sale somewhere at or near release.

I've never paid 60 dollars for a game, and I never will.

If everyone followed my example, they would have to lower the price, and before anyone says "that would put most devs out of business", . . no it wouldn't.

Games I've paid $60 for (top of my head):

COD: World at War
Fallout 3
Grand Theft Auto IV
COD: Modern Warfare 2
Fallout New Vegas
assorted Madden/FIFA/NHL games (NOT each one every year, I usually buy one per year)

only one on my radar I'm going to buy day 1 is GTA V

Only if it's a game I really want. That's about 1 game per year if that.

why is there no straight up "no" option?

Only if it's a game I REALLY want
