100 mbit or 11.2 megabytes/sec

pretty sure op means mbit speeds.

MBps = megabytes per sec
mbps = megabits per sec

I pay for a 50 Mbps connection (6.25 MB/s), so my 802.11g is actually bottlenecking me when I'm not plugged in with ethernet. Over wifi, I typically see download speeds in the 2-4 MB/s range, and plugged in I often see 6.5 MB/s.

Not going to vote because OP doesn't seem to know the difference between bits and bytes. I get about 7MB/s on a good day, which is around 60Mbps I believe.
