High end gaming laptop, what do you think of this deal?

I made one claim: you can play games just fine with a $1000 range laptop. Or do you want to buy a laptop to do benchmarks?

Alright, that's fair. You've made your claim and stuck to it. Now please read the very first post in this topic.

I just gave you a recommendation, dude. You asked for a cheaper system with a 780M but that doesn't mean this is your only option for gaming on a laptop. I did NOT go off-topic, if that's what you are implying.

Nah mate, I'm not implying you went off topic. Just a rebuttal as I did make a claim as well. Regardless, I appreciate all recommendations. I did look hard before (that is quite a large amount of money) and have been looking more since. I've tried configurations with the older GTX 680M but they end up being paired with older and slower CPU and/or somehow becoming more expensive. Opting for a GTX 770M does cut the price down some but the performance goes down accordingly. I buy a computer once every 3-4 years but previously I have never gone top end and they lasted me almost 4 years each. Spending a bit more this time looks to last me at least 4 years which I think will be worth it. I'd like a taste of maxing things out :P

Fair enough. A more powerful laptop will last you longer, if nothing else.
