I picked up a Quickfire Rapid Cherry Blue. Been loving it, co-workers...ehh not so much. :)

Hey Shub! Yeah I got a new job awhile back and just don't have the time to come around as much anymore.

heard a lot about Mechanical keyboards, and want to try 1, but that steep price curve scares me away haha

When it says tactile, does that mean u can feel it when the button registers?

*is typing on a mechanical keyboard right now*
Yes. Yes you can feel it.
In fact, aside from the one I already own at the house, I'm using one right now while at work (was an EXTRA that was collecting dust).
And yeah, co-workers... ehh, not so much. :)

There's no tactile feedback on black switches... I like it that way.

Cherry blues at work? You evil person.

I used reds & blacks at work. When I worked in an office.

Now I'm using browns/clears in a hybrid Ducky board (browns for letters/numbers, clears for modifiers). And I work from home. :D
Long time no see brah.

Yup! Well depending on what type you get. :)

Think of it like a mouse click, pretty much exactly the same just with your keyboard.

Luckily my co-workers don't really hate it that much (the guy who sits next to me is the one who pushed me to get it) Although I honestly was just going to use it at home but... I just can't go back to a regular keyboard, I just can't do it.

Nice to see some familiar faces are still around these parts.
