Looking for a good multiplayer game that is easy to learn

Hello,

I and another person want a multiplayer game that is playable on a macbook and doenst have a big learning curve. We were considering minecraft, but have heard that the multiplayer is complex and hard to set up. Can anyone recommend any games?

The only tricky thing about it is forwarding your ports, but there's a thousand tutorials on how to do that. You download the server, start it, forward your ports, then give your external IP to your friends. You can find that by going to whatsmyip.org.

If you want to do anything more than just run a basic Minecraft server, then it starts to become a little complex. Still nothing that you can't find help or a setup guide somewhere.

Thanks for the advice but I'm one of those people that cant even set up my router so I think ill find a game that better suits my lifestyle. Do you think Castle Crashers can run on a macbook from 2010? I remember playing it on xbox and it felt like a simple cute fun game.
