Our air went out. It's 80 degrees in our apartment, FFXIV beta starts tomorrow..

Might be a stupid question, but should I be worried about my computer's insides? I have no idea when our air will be fixed, and I don't want to overheat tomorrow morning when I jump into Final Fantasy XIV...

My CPU (i5 2500) has a Hyper 212+ heatsink on it, but the rest of my computer is all stock cooling (I use the NZXT Phantom, the original one)...

ehh.. my house hit 85f today. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just keep an eye on temps if you're concerned.

96 degrees outside right now :(

I'll take that biting sarcasm to mean that I'll be fine. Thanks for your help!

No trouble. I used to game in my computer room, dead center of my house, in San Diego, one of the dryer parts of town, in 100 degree heat. With an i3 on stock cooling. And before that, with a pentium D on stock cooling.

If you get any issues, turn down your overclock some. If you're not overclocked, you'll be fine to begin with. 80F is nothing.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.

Technically it's only 35 degrees outside... but that's using the superior measurement system.

Fahrenheit made more sense before people went and messed with it. 0 was the freezing point of sea water and 100 was the human body temperature. And then someone noticed that, if they moved the scale ever so slightly, water's freezing and boiling points would be 180 degrees apart. So they did. It's actually 1.8 times as accurate as celsius, when using significant figures.

By the by, significant figures are evil. 2.9 x 5 is 20.

yeah, anything with more numbers crammed into the same amount of space is going to be more accurate. I dunno. something pleasantly simple about 0=freezing 100=boiling

Your PC can get way hotter than 80f... Is this a serious question?
