Question regarding Humble Origin Bundle

Probably a stupid question. For the games that included Steam keys, are both redeemable? Did they essentially give away two copies of all those games?

Yup. You get separate Steam and Origin keys, and can redeem both of them.

That's what I thought. Wow is EA being generous here. Thanks.

Yeah. They email you a link to a page with the keys on. The Origin and Steam keys are listed under separate tabs..

thats why there are currently so many give away threads lol. Most of them are people who bought just for steam keys and are giving away the origin keys or vice versa. I used all the origin keys and gave the steam keys to my bro.

For all the humble bundle games you get access to all the platforms available and you don't have to chose just one. It's a bit different with steam/origin since they give you keys and those can easily be traded, but a lot of games are also available as DRM free direct download that could almost just as easily be shared.

You can get another Origin key for some of the games, making it 3 copies.

On a few Steam games, the Steam installation gives you a cd key that is redeemable on Origin as well (Crysis 2 for example). Whether it's the same key as the Origin key provided I have no idea.

These keys don't expire right? I plan on trading some of them down the line for another game when this humble bundle thing is over and forgotten with.
