Hardest Game To Run At Max Settings - And The Price of a PC That Can Run It

#1JoeofmarsPosted 8/17/2013 9:41:44 PM
What is the hardest game to run at max settings? Tomb Raider? Crysis 3? Metro: Last Light? Something else?

And if I were to build a PC that can run whichever game is deemed the hardest to run at max settings, how much would I have to spend?

Crysis 3, and if you want to run it at 60fps 1080p at least $1,500.

Are there any games coming out soon that are expected to surpass it?

Probably Skyrim with mods. I don't think you could build a computer to max it.

Seriously? My 7970 pulls 30 fps maxed out with ubersampling. It's a damn good card, but not in the same league as the $600+ cards. Terrible example for the present.

Skyrim is a cpu intensive game, you can build a tower that can max it.

It fact most mods for it helps the game run more smoothly, unless you totally ignore all the user patches an fixes.
