Just got macbook air; Bootcamp trouble

#1TheDrizzuhPosted 8/18/2013 10:22:22 AM
I've installed win 7 on my mac through bootcamp, and apart from the touchpad being severely gimped in windows I've noticed windows will not recognize my ntfs external hard drive. Haven't seen anything in google that might help.

If bootcamp is too hard for you, just quit the military. Find a different job bro.

1) Does the drive mount in OSX?
2) Are you bootcamp drivers up to date?
3) Does device manager show up any issues?

IIRC OSX should at least mount the drive (Read only mode though), try it on another computer if you can.

1) Does it show up in disk utility?
2) Are other usb drives effected?
3) Does it show up in system information (can't recall the specific name but it lists all the hardware)?

Does it spin up correctly? I know some drives have multiple usb connections because the power of a single port may not be enough.
