What is the (accidental)shortcut that messes up the keyboard when gaming?

standard wasd setting where you sometimes press a weird combination which enables a shortcut that changes the entire keyboard and you can't type anything and open up different windows with each key etc.

this is on win7 btw and it annoys me since i have to log off and in again before i can get it back to normal.

does anyone know?

most likely not.

unless sticky keys changes the entire keyboard layout to open tons of different windows.

I've had that happen a few times and no idea what causes it. Probably seen it 3 times in over 5 years so im guessing it's a driver malfunction.

Always have reboot to clear it.
