I downloaded BF3 in 20 minutes lol.

You have 80MBps internet?

I'm skeptical that you have that, and even more skeptical that Origin can handle those speeds.

???

80MB/s * 60 seconds = 4800MB/minute
4800MB/minute / 1024 = 4.6875GB/minute
4.6875GB/minute * 20 minutes = 93.75GB in 20 minutes
93.75GB > 20GB and 30GB

Why would he need 80MB/s internet to d/l BF3 in 20 minutes???

Edit:
30GB * 1024 = 30720MB
30720MB / 20 minutes = 1536MB/minute
1536MB/minute / 60 seconds = 25.6MB/s
It would take a 25.6MB/s or 204.8Mb/s internet speed to d/l 30GB in 20 minutes.

20GB * 1024 = 20480MB
20480MB / 20 minutes = 1024MB/minute
1024MB/minute / 60 seconds = 17.06MB/s
It would take a 17.06MB/s or 136.53Mb/s internet speed to d/l 20GB in 20 minutes.

Edit2: Still ridiculous speeds, but nowhere near as ridiculous as 80MB/s.

@NotQuiteAFreak

My BF3 download was only about 20GBs. Did I miss some free DLC or something?

You shouldn't have, the game has the DLC files installed regardless of if you bought them or not. :/

No it doesn't. The DLC's aren't downloaded with the base game. I bought premium and had to download Endgame and Karkland manually. Each were at least 4-5 GB's.

Downloaded every Steam game within a day, it took me like 3 freaking days to install BF3 and I can't even figure out how to play it. I launch it, it opens a browser and does a bunch of crap, I finally get to where I can click quick match in my browser, then nothing happens. It's just sat there looking for a match for 20+ minutes with nothing happening. Is there not some way to just, you know, launch the game?
