So I need a new computer, my old one I got from ecollegepc and I liked them a lot, so I'm using them again for my new one.
I already have a mouse, keyboard, monitor etc, just need the tower and it's components.

Here's what I got from messing around on the site:

: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4Ghz 6MB Cache Quad-Core |
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm CPU Fan/Heatsink |
ASUS P8Z77-V LK (Intel Z77, 3xPCI-E, 6xSATA, 4xDDR3) |
8GB (4GBx2) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866Mhz Lifetime Warranty |
1TB 7200RPM 32MB Cache SATA3 6Gbps (Major Brand) |
24X LG SATA Dual Layer DVD /-RW/CDRW w/LG Burning Software |
3GB ATI Radeon HD7950 GDDR5 PCI-E DVI/HDMI (Major Brand) |
Apevia Black/Green X-Dreamer 4 (4 5.25, 5 3.5) 5 Fans, Audio/USB 3.0 |
650watt Corsair CMPSU-650TX V2 80 PLUS CERTIFIED |
Onboard LAN included | Onboard Sound included |
Internal All in 1 Card Reader |
2x 120mm Case Fan

This comes out to $1166. I use my computer for gaming, obviously, and was just wondering if anyone with knowledge can either give me advice on parts or maybe find a way to lower
It without sacrificing power too much.

Seems pretty good. I have a similar set up, 2500k and 7950, and I love it. I'd go for the 4570k and z87 mobo because its this years model and the 3570k amd z77 are last year's.

Either my brain has finally betrayed me or you've forgotten a GPU?
