Elder Scrolls online to have monthly fee.

I give them 6 months after launch before they go freemium.
Maybe one year if they really cash-in the Elder Scrolls name with aggressive marketing before launch.

Wait... what?

Apparently if an MMO doesn't have the specific type of endgame that you personally enjoy, it has no endgame at all. Good to know. Pretty much every MMO that is not WOW gets accused of having no endgame.

Gamefaqs game rating system : 10 = Best Game Ever. 8-9. Crushing dissapointment. Below 8 :Total Garbage. This is getting ridiculous. people agreeing so far 105

See there's your problem. You think the token reward is a substitute for the experience.

I wonder how this is going to work out for the console version... I mean, is it going to be: buy game for $60, pay the MMO monthly fee, and then pay the Live/PSN fee on top of everything else? Holy crap, they'd be getting screwed big time.

You were once shoved headfirst through someone's lady parts, why are you acting so dignified?

There are already games on the PS4 that don't require PS+ to play online, and mostly they're MMOs. I expect this will be the same.

thought everyone already knew it had a sub. It's destined to fail and be fp2 in a year

I was never really interested in the first place (I'm not an MMO kind of guy) but I would have tried it for a few hours with some friends if it was F2P. I can't see the point in paying $15 a month (or whatever) for a game that I'll probably play 2 or 3 days out of the month...if that much.

I've already got 500+ games on steam, a handful of games on Gog (13 games) ....So I could just pay $15 a month and ignore my backlog, or I could ignore my backlog and not pay anyone $15 a month... I think that's the problem with the MMO genre today... Back when games were super expensive and you didn't own 100+ games, $15 a month might be worth it to keep a good game going.

I give it 6 months at most before it goes F2P.
