4930K and a Titan, and it's still not a high end gaming pc. lawl

Lol, I know. To be fair, I could try a bit more tweaking on my Titan overclock. It's a bit finicky, though. Also, I'm sure I could get away with a higher overclock on my 4930K, but I'm content with a stable 4.5GHz for now.

What voltage are you using for 4.5GHz? And what temps are you getting?

For now I'm at 1.23V. I'm getting 57 degrees max gaming and 75 was the worst during Prime95. Also, here's my updated Fire Strike Benchmark. I did a bit better after playing around with my GPU overclock.

I'm pretty sure I need a new PSU as my PC shuts down entirely with unlocked voltage on my 780s and max CPU overclock in the combined test. I'm probably going to get a 1000w seasonic platinum tomorrow.

Wow that's very nice. Your 4930K needs less voltage than my 3820 for 4.5GHz!

Yup, PSU is definitely the issue. Just used a Killawatt and I hit around 980-1000w from the wall and my system shuts down. Thinking of getting a 1250w xfx off amazon which looks to be a great deal considering its a seasonic. Just want to get some real headroom as I feel I can probably hit into the high 1300's with these cards as I can hit 1280 around 1.24v which is where I start getting near shutdown wattage. Probably gonna have to set something up for water cooling on my top card at least as well as without my rooms ac being full blast I can almost hit 90c by the end of a heaven run. Almost considering getting a 4930k and selling my 3930k as well as I hit over 500w from the wall just running blend on prime95 at 4.4Ghz.

That seems odd. Guru3D's 3960x(@4.6 GHz/1.4v)/780 SLi test build only pulled 544w from the wall. Granted, I don't think they OC'd the GPU's, but would it really jump up that much higher???

Overvolting anything increases power consumption extremely quickly.

Here's a guy who shut down a 1500W PSU with three Titans.
