Eh...

All the games I want to play are running great so this doesn't bother me much.

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.

How did you know you didn't? Are you sure you can't push your 7970 past 950MHz?

Nah it won't nudge any higher even at 1.3V. Stock voltage was 1.175V

They reported my GPU as 7970 x2, but it's actually a Powercolor 7990 Devil 13. Which I guess is just a 7970 x2 jury-rigged together, so whatever. Also not really sure why it's listing my CPU as clocked at 2.2 ghz and memory at 667 MHz? Maybe I need to investigate this?

Just built this machine and haven't overclocked yet, haven't had the time to sit down and learn the proper way to do it. I could use some of the default OC profiles, but I figure it'd be better to learn what I'm actually doing first. The Devil 13 also includes a "turbo bios" button which I've also been leaving off (including for this 3DMark test).

Well that is really unfortunate. Looks like you got a complete dud :(

Bit of a misunderstanding, max overclock that I got was 1150Mhz @ 1.250V, don't know why it didn't show up in the results.

Ah, that's not as nearly as bad. Still not a great clocker though.
