you didn't play Devil May Cry 3 or Resident Evil 4 have you???? Darksiders 2 is far from a bad PC port.

The newer Sonic Adventure DX port.

That thing was a disaster.

Locked resolution.

Locked framerate.

No anti-aliasing.

Nothing. Just nothing.

All of the people saying Darksiders II was a poor port are dead wrong. It runs just fine on the laptop in my sig. Now Dead Space was a pretty terrible port.

that's not the point. this topic says "list of bad console to PC ports"

so no, you have not played them on PC. There is honestly nothing wrong with Darksiders 2 as a PC port, ESPECIALLY compared to Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4, ESPECIALLY Devil May Cry 3.

I love topics like this. It helps keep legit pc gamers heads up with these terrible purchases.

My pick is diablo 3. Lets be honest, blizzard sold us a prototype for the consoles and we're stuck with a mandatory requirement of using a ssd and the auction house for loot. While the 360 version plays off a 5400 rpm hdd and runs great( I've played the demonstration)

GLWS of the expansion blizzard. I'm not getting fooled twice

Dead Space. The physics are frame based instead of time based leading to tons of problems, plus vsync caps the game at 30 instead of 60, combined with negative mouse acceleration the game is unplayable at 30 fps with m/kb.

If you play with an uncapped frame rate then QTEs become unwinnable, at 600 fps (my rig played it at over 500 so not an impossible number by any stretch) you have to press E 20 times as fast as you're supposed to have to to break free when you get grabbed.

If you play with just a frame limit then you get stuck in the room where you get your first weapon because an enemy won't spawn due to a physics glitch if vsync isn't enabled and you can't progress if that enemy doesn't spawn.

Even once you finally get the game running at acceptable frame rates with an external vsync the mouse still feels like ass due to the negative acceleration and you can't adjust the sensitivity of the controller if you decide to go with that.

The moral of the story is
3rd person shooters like Dead Space are best played with a controller.

No. Most third person shooters are still better with a mouse and keyboard.

IIRC Jet Set Radio was the same. You had to replace the executable to get 60fps.

Aces of the Galaxy was pretty bad, Viking is bad, Rayman 2. Can't think of any others for the time being.
