Its a slower WoW, but faster FFXI. The 2.5 second global cooldown makes the combat much more slow paced. A three attack combo takes 8 seconds to perform. The only abilities that are off the GCD are stuns and buffs, but they are still delayed because of animation timings.
With that said, everything else is decent. But 90% of the game involves combat...and it is mind numbingly boring.
edit: I wouldn't say the feedback is "great"...buts it has its ups and downs. Then again, a lot of people are comparing it to 1.0 when providing their "good" feedback. 1.0 was a complete trainwreck, and as an earlier posted noted, anything compared to a pile of dog **** obviously looks good.
I believe ads are chosen based on your browsing history, so...
Then it's odd that Slashdot and PCH, the only two sites I visit on my Surface Pro gets porn MMO game adverts. --- I think I'm the only person on gamefaqs with a daughterboard - ToastyOne New with a moderation history more plentiful than karma. - Fossil (Moderator)
It's typically based on IP address and not individual computers unless each computer is logged in to a different google account. Unless your pro has 3G or something you should still be getting the same ads.
As for the butt paste, it's just a baby lotion with a funny name, if you've looked at anything baby related it will pop up. I've gotten it a few times after reading articles about babies on Cracked.
My funniest experience, or maybe depressing, hard to say, with Adsense was reading an article about comicon. The final paragraph was about female cosplayers frequently being harassed and assaulted. The ad at the bottom of the page was for a mortal Kombat cosplay porno. --- Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there XBL, PSN, Steam, Origin, BSN, GFAQs, MC: PhilOnDez
Why does everyone praise them for supposedly 'listening'? What, were they supposed to accept the massive financial loss? They listened to the suits and shareholders, not the players.
And it's gotten meh feedback from everyone I know. Above average production values but still typical MMO. Astounding success? Huh. --- Eagerly awaiting FFXIV's inevitable failure. Even a fantastic game cannot withstand initial bad press & the long-dead MMO format. Sad but true.
