Unique idea for a game.

Imagine a game where you are a boss/manager of a group of employees. You have to make sure you higher and or fire them as needed, ensure they are doing tasks properly and on time, and last but not least, INTERACT with them and be a nice guy to encourage their productivity.

Has this been done before? Would you play it?

Think that might already exist with all those simulator games.

Makes me think of the ios game, game dev story though without the depth in interacting with the employees to much.

You don't encourage people by being nice, you encourage them with money, when you are nice they try to take advantage of you. Why do you think nice managers are rare because it turns out the workers are the real asses.

That's certainly has truth, though I don't think bosses that are mean are all that much greater either. Haha, I'm sure you can think of many friends or people you know who always complain about a hard headed boss which usually lead to employees wanting to cut corners when they can.

When i think of good managers I always find one that isn't just a boss, but a leader is the most efficient in getting people to doing things well. So in general someone whos willing to lead by example. (People that come to mind are like John Lasseter, Miyazaki, Steve Jobs, lol those big guys). Haha, not sure you can pull that off in a game all to well though.

Here's my idea: Vikings. Everything that has to do with Vikings.
Norse Mythology.
Seafaring.
Naval combat.
Raiding.
Brutal battle.

Part action game, part ocean exploring game, part naval RTS, part GOING TO ASGARD AND ****ING S*** UP.

Some day, I will learn to make this a reality

I see more and more games like this and I never understand why someone would want to do this. I go to work to do this. Why would I want to do it at home when I could be having fun?
