Laptop or 3DS for birthday?

#1DiayamondoPosted 8/22/2013 12:02:51 PM
This is the laptop in question.

Versus a 3DS. Pokemon X and Y comes out a few weeks after my birthday, so if I don't get the 3DS, I'll miss out on it until Christmas.

But school starts up soon, so a laptop during the school year could work.

Well, there are tons of things you can do with a laptop, but there's a lot of really good games for 3DS already. I'd get the laptop now maybe. There should be some good sales during the holidays for a 3DS XL again, possibly bundled with a game.

It's Nintendo, and it's a handheld, therefore, way too many to list.

If you have a computer, you will probably be fine as far as school work goes. The 3DS is a lot cheaper, and already has a some great games to get with it.

That's a list of games on the 3DS, in order from highest score to lowest. Great site to find games to play, since it is at the bottom of every GameFAQs page.

The Asus looks nice, and I'm still torn between these two choices.

Do you want to play games? That laptop isn't much of a gaming machine.
