The next gen consoles won't be passing 1080p.

BF4 is running at 720p in order to maintain 60fps, and Sonys flagship title killzone shadow fall is 1080p and 30fps.

No need to worry about the next gen consoles.

It's not so much the games on the next gen consoles themselves as how demanding the games will be when brought over to the PC.

Sure, BF3 runs on PS360, but to run it with higher settings on PC necessitates higher specs.

7850? 7870? 7870 XT?

And why would you get 16 GB of RAM? Coulda gotten 8 and used the money saved to get a better GPU.

A shame, really.

Has anyone seen the new 4k TVs? The picture is incredible.

Of course, they are huge and overpriced, but in a few years I'd love to see that much detail available in gaming.

Imagine a 4k Occulus Rift running environments like Skyrim or Amnesia.

Your GPU couldn't handle it. You'd spend a whole lot for the 4K TV and the same goes for the GPU.

The card is:
AMD RADEON 7870 2GB DDR5 PCI-E

At the time, I was advised this card was one of the best BANG for your buck.
