For some stupid reason while trying to download Dead Space 3 & Crysis 2, Dead Space 3 had around 15 to 20% done, and Crysis 2 had around 8 to 11%....Now Dead Space 3 is at 5% & Crysis 2 is at 23%, what the hell happened to the other 10 to 15% for Dead Space 3????

This is a common issue with Origin. It downloads in chunks and if for some reason it finds that a chunk is bad (bad checksum or something?) it drops the whole chunk and downloads it again.

Try quitting and restarting origin when that happens...also run as administrator if you're not doing so already.

It seems to be constant though....I've even uninstalled Origin, and re-installed it, yet the same **** happens.......Now its at 0%.......This is ridiculous.....

Origin just does that. It's extended my downloads by more than double the actual time the download was supposed to take. I could have had Dead Space 3 in 3 or 4 hours. It took literally all day, morning to about midnight to actually finish.

Weird Origin downloads at 9MBps to me, Steam does it at 6-7MBps.

Steam does the same thing, actually, except instead of dumping just a chunk of the game, if it finds the game did not download properly, it won't inform you of this until after the entire game is downloaded and then makes you redownload the entire game
