Win a free Humble Bundle game code with COMPUTER TRIVIA!

#1RetrowirePosted 8/22/2013 7:52:11 PM
Welcome one! Welcome all! Welcome to those both big and small!

Here's how we're going to do this. I will ask a vintage computer related trivia question and the first to answer, wins the prize!

1) If you answer incorrectly, you'll have a minimum of 5 minutes before trying to answer again. This prevents people flooding until they get the correct answer.

2) New users are NOT eligible for the prizes. I will check your status before considering your answer. This is to prevent non GameFAQs regulars from an attempt at the prize, and to prevent mule accounts from trying multiple times.

3) Winners will be notified of their success within this thread and will be PM'd their prize immediately.

SO. What's the prize in question for today? (That's right, I'll be coming back.)

1: A free ORIGIN download code for Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box.
2: A free ORIGIN download code for Crysis 2: MAXIMUM EDITION.
3: A free ORIGIN OR STEAM download code for Dead Space.

*yaaay applause*

Now, for the trivia question...

This home computer/game system was advertised in the late 70's with a famous slogan spoken by Leonard Nimoy. What is the name of this product? Incomplete answers will not qualify, we need the full name folks!

First person to answer correctly shall WIN THE PRIZE!

After this prize has been won, I will come back and begin another trivia challenge.

Good luck!

OOH, close but no cigar! The Commodore PET was Commodore's first home computer. It was not considered a game system as well. Also, I'm not sure if Leonard Nimoy had any connections with it's advertising.

1. A lot of people on here do want the keys.

2. Most people who pay the 5 dollars, like I did, keep the reasons that they paid five dollars. If you want BF3 or Sims 3 than go buy them. if not just have fun and try to win the other games that someone is giving away for FREE! :)

3. This is why I am giving my codes to my family.

4. No idea to your trivia question. But thanks for actually doing something fun rather than the norm.

Sorry, this computer was released in 1980-81.

The computer in question is late 70's. Also, Leonard Nimoy never spoke a slogan for this.
