#1Benjamin_ButtonPosted 8/23/2013 3:47:33 AM(edited)
and now I want to develop my on games..aspiring to be an indie developer.

i have a lot of ideas and i want them to come into fruition via games.

Im not expecting to make CoD quality games off the bat. Dont care about gfx, it could look like tetris or pacman.

Basically what im asking is, what is the first step?

First step is the basic concept, but that's assuming you know how to code etc.

Well then, first step is learning how to code. Pick one coding language and stick with it until you have it down.

Forget that, learn how to make sprites, splashes, etc. They team up with me, I have been looking for a partner for a Vita game.

The first step is to know your crap. So spend the next few years coding or making levels in some editor. It's incredibly difficult and most people saying I WANT TO MAKE GAMES give up.

It's a harsh reality.
