How is console vs PC even an argument anymore?

PC gamers don't mind constantly upgrading their hardware and having everything media related accessible.

Console users like having a system dedicated to playing games with tons of exclusives.

Each to their own.

Constantly? I haven't upgraded in over 2 years, and I still play everything on high.

Just shut up.

It's like talking to a brick wall. The ignorance makes me sad.

Oh well. Go ahead and miss out on some amazing PC gaming. It's no skin off my back.

PC Disadvantages include:
Limited to select games and missing many console exclusives

This disadvantage is not limited to PC - each console suffers from not having the exclusives of the other consoles. Furthermore, PC has lots of exclusives itself - much more than any console, obviously.

In general? What does that even mean? PC gaming is capable of ALL the generations it's been going. I'm sure that list is still much more favorable to PC gaming. Also, if you want to play that card, PC gaming can emulate many of those old consoles, so those exclusives are no longer exclusive to consoles. Oh, did I mention they're improved on PC as well? I was playing Mario Kart Wii on the PC just two days ago in 1080p@60fps. That "exclusive" was pretty sweet on my PC with my Wii mote on my recliner on my 46" TV.

The bottom line for PC is that it CAN. It CAN do everything a console can and much more and better than consoles do.

"But...but...I like to play my games on my couch." I give up. No wonder they call you "peasants".

Also unlike PC, console gaming doesn't turn you into an elitist *****.

it's pretty clear what console-only gaming does to people especially since we've already seen clear examples of it ITT.

i would much rather be perceived as an "elitist *****" than being looked upon as an incredibly stupid, uninformed and ignorant ***** who wouldn't be able to present a valid point if his life depended on it.

Emulation? Seriously? It is pretty much IP theft. That is right though, the list is obviously much higher. No need for name calling either, I'm a PC guy too. Next time someone creates this topic I'll be sure to clarify "originally exclusive games" or something along those lines.
