Hello, I am building my first PC, and i got a Steelseries Kana mouse, however I am pretty sure that this mouse requires an internet connection to use, and since I will have to install win8 and the driver software for my wifi card, will I not be able to use this mouse whilst configuring and setting up my PC?

Pretty sure those mice only require the internet for "advanced functions" whatever those are.

or, you could download the driver that doesn't require an online connection. or disable the online parts of synapse. or you can just continue to be ignorant, whatever

Or you could just buy a mouse that doesn't require any of that.
