I have a GTX 670 currently but I am sick of the fact that most of my issues come from this series/card. I'm looking into replacing it instead of RMAing, and wondering what upgrade/etc I should get. I have an I5 3570k and am not into overclocking at all.

I was hoping to get around the 300 area. I am having to currently underclock my GTX 670 by 13 mhz otherwise in games I will constantly BSOD/crash...that's not normal I assume, and is definitely a RMA issue correct? I have replaced the memory and PSU already.

I do believe it's the EVGA. I also just read something that stated someone was causing this issue by plugging their HDMI monitor into their graphics card, instead of their motherboard...is that the case?

Am I supposed to be running the HDMI from the monitor to the motherboard instead of the monitor to the GPU?

I am also running it in the PCIE 2.0 x 16 slot on my mobo.

You're not going to get better than a 670 for that price. I suggest trying a little harder to remedy your issue.
