How long will my graphics card last me before its considered outdated?

Yeah, but you'll have to compromise on settings and/or resolution. Hell, it can run games guaranteed for the next 7 years if you can compromise.

With all the heavy crap disabled like AA and MSAA etc., it will be outdated when the card can't run at the quality settings you prefer.

Obviously it varies from person to person.

I'm still running a 470 GTX and play most of my games on high settings.

The card itself is 3.5 years old I believe.

Depends on the game you play.
If you're a cheap ******* that waits until a game is on 50~75% sale on Steam... it'll last you a while since you'll be catching up from 2011 or so.

If you have to play the newest AAA games.... you should be able to play it on high ~ medium for the next three years.
