They have no reason for being that high priced at this point except greed.

Greed is what you call it when you complain that 50% discounts aren't deep enough.

Sure. I bet you think selling 10-15 year old games at $20+ is reasonable as well.

Some of us aren't as foolish with our money as you are.

where are my $2.50 deals

You wouldn't see this games at $2.50 in steam anyway...

Yes you would.

Half of those games are old.

They have no reason for being that high priced at this point except greed.

Maybe the Ubisoft games, but EA games you will always see them cheaper on Origin.

I was talking about if they were put on steam and Origin/EA wasn't clearly trying to pull people in by force.

I'm on the fence about the BF3 Premium content. I know I'll get it eventually, but just missed the $12.50 price point on GMG. I'm thinking it will go down to $10 when BF4 comes out, but I'm not sure if I should bite on this price or not =\

It's $5 more only. I paid full price for both the game and Premium.

I've barely touched the game yet though--would you suggest getting the content before even starting multiplayer, or just diving in and getting it later? I don't mind waiting if it will be cheaper and add play time down the line.

...EA would set the sale prices on Steam.

If you aren't playing MP, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to get Premium.

They have more competition on Steam.

Why buy one game for $20 if you can buy 4 or more with that same amount of cash.

The sale would be more on Steam.

Nice straw man argument. Literally none of that was relevant to the situation. You claimed that EA was being greedy because a 50% price cut is not deep enough because the games are old (protip, they aren't) and you're too cheap to pay it.

You can just not buy the games if you don't want to pay for them, but complaining about a 50% discount makes you greedy, not them.
