Ahh, no where close. But this is partly why I dropped them a few months ago to try out tethering my phone. My connection would come and go as it pleased.

That deal only lasts for 6 months right?

At 6 months I called them and was cool as **** with them and I got another 6 months.

Thing is these people at the cable companies get average to below average wages and have people call them with attitude all day long. Then they get a call from some one who small talks with them and sets a relaxing tone with them.

How do you think theses people respond?

They hook you up.

Poor upload speed can cause the issue. If the upload bandwidth data is filled it can drop your download speed. It can easily happen when multiple device is on the network when the upload speed is terrible.

Quote:I have. They came out and replaced the cable that goes through the wall to the outside... does weather affect internet in any way? I know it sounds dumb but it usually happens during the rain
@m0986-8

No, weather should have no effect unless you have a satellite connection.

Nope. cable.

Hell yes it can. If moisture gets in a junction box in the neighborhood or if there is exposed wiring that's getting wet anywhere along the connection it can cause all sorts of havoc with a connection.

This. My Internet went out almost every time it rained for a few months. They finally fixed it after about 9 attempts.

Comcast Tech just came to my house two days ago, i had been complaining about my connection having problems. The tech plugged a booster into my system. It has to be plugged into an electricity outlet and the cable line runs through it. It fixed everything. See if you can get them to give you one.

Tech also replaced outside wires that had been damaged by animals.
