I would SLI 760s.

OK, but what do you think about games that will call for more than 2gb of VRAM? Wouldn't they choke on the 760 SLI setup? I know having two 2gb cards isn't the same as having one 4gb card. This more than anything else is making me balk at doing the SLI thing.

You can always turn down textures if need be.

True, but I guess what I'm asking is for roughly the same net price, would I have to turn them down on the 760 SLI setup, but not on the 4gb 770? I don't know if the bottleneck would be caused first by the lack of VRAM on the SLI setup, or the lack of raw power of the weaker 4gb card.

7950's are better than 760's for less AND you get more vram.

Sell 760 and buy two of those.

ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

I've heard so many people complaining that Crossfire doesn't work well that I'm reluctant to go to Radeon at this point in time for a multiple-card setup. I might consider a beefy single card though.

I really don't see this being an issue for a while. Honestly, though at 1440p you may want to consider switching to the 4gb card for now. I would do SLI cause I game at 1080p.

I probably should have mentioned this in the first post, but another one of the reasons I am also interested in more than a 2gb card is that I run heavily modded Skyrim @1440p, and that uses a ton of VRAM with those 4k textures. I'm guessing that getting a second 760 wouldn't really help this issue much. As another poster said, I would need to turn the settings down to get it to run smoothly. The bottleneck in that situation is still going to be the VRAM, even if there is more GPU power available from another card.

I guess that settles it (sort of.) I'm looking at 4gb cards now. Thanks for your input, everyone.

What would be the cost of selling the 760 and buying two 760 4GB for SLI?

So $630 - whatever I get for one 2gb 760 (hoping $200 after shipping and ebay fees) so $430. Still kinda pricey compared to getting a single 770 4gb or a 7970 3gb. Researching on the differences between them right now. Good idea, though.

Ended up going with this one after several hours of reading. It should last me a while, and I always have the option to SLI another one down the road too. It's not a Titan, but it'll only cost me $250 or so once I sell my 760, and I think it hits a good price/performance area for me.

I have two GTX660 2gb in SLI with 1440p and it works flawlessly, despite only 2gb.

the 760 makes the 770 look lame for the $

the 7950 CF is the best deal

Single 7970 it's worth it and you can find one pretty cheap. 3GB Vram

Oh, you thought they made this game for you? You clearly bought the wrong game.
