Unless I'm missing something transferring hundreds of gigs of files over a wifi network would suck something fierce, and there's no way to scan another computer over a network.

Obviously wireless would be slow, but an ethernet cable would be much faster.

That's weird, Then I wonder how I have browse another PC through network many times before. Guess I didn't know there is no way to do it. XD

Can you scan one comp with another via ethernet, or with those easy transfer cables either for that matter? Had a problem a while back where a comp was so locked up that you couldn't even boot into safe mode, and as soon as you loaded onto the desktop the virus took over and redirected you to it's BS. Had to finally download a bootable anti-virus to a flashdrive and boot from it to get rid of it, but at that time I was wondering if there was some way to just use my laptop to connect to the virus ridden computer and clean it

It's how I've been moving files from my laptop to my desktop while the desktop has no internet. Hook up an ethernet cable between them and just go to the network and sharing center and turn on network discovery and turn off password protection. Obviously not a good idea if you're on an open network, but if it's just at home and you've got a password on your router or are running a direct line from computer to computer then it's fine. Just gotta go to your My Computer screen, right click your C drive and tell Windows that it's fair game for sharing.

Once we perfect building Mechs, I expect there to be a factory in Mexico pumping out a brand call Mechsican. I wanna buy me a Mechsican.
